The TETEA Project builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, the Safe Communities for Children and Adolescents in Kenya initiative, which began the development of a system to support various service providers. Over a span of three years, Trim, in collaboration with project partners and the Directorate of Children Services (DCS) at both County and National levels, successfully developed the Service Providers Management System (SPMS).
Today, the project team conducted an SPMS user update session in Gilgil Sub-County. The session brought together Community Health Providers, Child Protection Volunteers, and other key stakeholders from the area. Participants were trained on how to update information on service providers within their respective jurisdictions to enhance the coordination and efficiency of service delivery. The exercise was led by a representative from CISP and trained staff from K-NOTE.
